    Near the beginning of each year, there is a week designated as Spirit Week for the entire school (K-12). This is a time for costume days and special events at lunchtime. All students will want to participate to show their school and team spirit. It is a time of enjoyment and team building with the student body and staff.

    Welcome Back Retreat

    The High School Welcome Back event, a unique Olympic event happened last August 12-13. The rare and creative competitions started in the morning on the FIA campus. Afterwards, the students stayed at a resort in town then returned to campus Saturday noon.

ATHLETICS

Our FIA Girls and Boys Volleyball teams will be hosting our local 4 team tournament this Saturday, September 24th. It will be begin at 8:00 am and go until around 4:00 pm. Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School, Precious International School, and General Baptist Bible School will be the visiting schools for the day of volleyball competition. MIDDLE SCHOOL EXPLORATORY CLASSES

A middle school exploratory is a class that is taught Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday for 45 minutes between 1:00-2:00 pm. We are looking for volunteers willing to teach a small group of about 10-15 students for second quarter, starting October 10 and ending December 15. Some possible topics are: cooking, arts and crafts, music, drama, technology, community outreach/ministry, sewing, photography, science club, math games, study skills, basic Korean/ Spanish/ Tagalog/ German (for those who don’t currently speak that language), a specific sport, a book club, cultural dances, etc. This is not a graded or formal class, but rather it provides opportunities for students to grow and ..

TALENT SHOW AUDITIONS

Talent Show Auditions are October 21; only 9 school days after the quarter break! Let’s celebrate the different talents God has given us; be it musical, comedy, dance, speaking or acting, all ages are welcome! BUSINESS OFFICE AUTHORIZATION SLIP

We apologize for not getting the authorization slips out at the beginning of the year. This authorization slip must be signed by the parent or guardian of any child/children. When the slip is signed and returned to the business office, it WILL ALLOW the child/ren listed to CHARGE drinks or milk bars from the canteen onto the parent account. Without the signed slip the child/ren WILL NOT be able to charge. Any child is able to pay cash to buy any of the items as well. If you do NOT want your child/ren buying anything from the canteen, please make a special note on the authorization slip. SCHOOL UNIFORMS

Beginning October 10, only the new uniform tops are to be worn. Both the new style uniform tops and all bottoms can be purchased in the Business Office. There are some used uniforms (new style – limited sizes available) available for P50 each.
