WORLD MUSIC

World Music Sharing! Calling musicians and music-lovers from all parts of the world: this quarter, middle school Music Exploratory students are learning about world music. I’m looking for parents or community members who can come to class one day and share about the music of a certain country, or simply let me know about songs or resources. One of the strengths of our community is our breadth of international experience, and this is an exciting chance to draw upon it. Do you have any ideas about music around the world? Please email (claire.drevets@fia.edu.ph) or text me (0906-522-5417). Thank you! ~~Claire Drevets, Music Teacher

We offer the November and May exams here at FIA. The deadline for registration for the November 5 test is September 21. ~~Karissa Pattison, Activities Coordinator

COUNSELING AVAILABLE

God has provided a certified counselor to help our community. If your child or you are interested in receiving counseling, please contact Megan Reeder at Megan_reeder@sil.org. She will generally be in her office on campus (room 8-by the Business Office) on Mondays and Wednesdays. School policy is that students may meet with the school counselor only one time per quarter without specific parental permission. ~~Lynette Tillman, Interim Head of School
