MS Outdoor Education Squad Leader ~ Kacie Leneway

While waiting in Manila airport with a bunch of 35 students – a MS girl approached me, tears streaming down her face. For sure, I thought something was seriously wrong. My heart sank at the prospect of dealing with another problem. It was the end of an intensive week of outdoor education and I was looking forward to some rest.

As the student came closer, although I could see tears, a smile lit up her face. Excitedly, she told me, ‘Miss Leneway, I just accepted Jesus as my Savior.’ She had felt God speaking to her during the week and finally on the last day, in the airport, the other MS students had led her to the Lord! What an amazing change in the direction of her life. Since that momentous day in Manila airport, the student has grown in her walk with the Lord.
